For many years, we have supported the
Mustard Seed Relief Mission* by collecting
*(more info here)
shoe boxes of gifts for orphaned and underprivileged children in Eastern Europe.
These boxes are filled by our own church members and by friends from nearby offices and local churches.
Our 2021 Gift Service was held on Sunday 3rd November,
and the following Tuesday 75 shoeboxes were taken to the Mustard Seed warehouse in Eastbourne. In 2020 they were able to send more the 30,000 boxes to poor communities in Moldova
In Spring 2022, church members responded to an urgent appeal from the Mustard Seed Relief Mission to send monetary donations in lieu of the usual shoeboxes that Autumn,
in order to help relieve the unfolding humanitarian crisis in Eastern Europe brought about by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
